About

It’s a fatass, but not in the most strict sense of the word. Is it a race? Not, if you expect participation medals, race swag in your bag, or timing mats. What we will have for this event is a well-marked 4.5-ish mile looped course on trails in Jacobsburg State Park, one Aid Station, bibs to designate runners, loop counting and official race start and finish time, and whole lot of fun with fellow runners.

This is an event for those who missed out on other races this summer and needs a training race or to those gearing up for another timed event later in the year. It is also ideal for those who are starting out on their path to running longer distances as they can choose among three different timed race events, experience running on an easy trail course but is not completely flat, and train other aspects of your ultrarunning skillset -- heat training, fueling schedule, pacing strategy, etc. Each loop has 413 ft of elevation gain, so do not expect to get your mountain running training out of this event, but do not expect to run your PR times here either.

It's just a bunny hill.
